How trustworthy is craigslist.com?

The only way (that I know of) to deal with those people is to delete the e-mails and forget about it. If someone's not willing to meet you on your terms, then simply don't sell it to them. There's always going to be someone trying to run a scam, be it craigslist, e-bay, or even in a traditional storefront.
