How can I get over my discouragement and bitterness because of a physical disability?

Remember that everything happens for a reason, and God is in control no matter what. My 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile/Type I Diabetes this past summer. It is hard when I am not feeling well, but it broke my heart that my little girl would have to live with this for the rest of her life, unless they come up with a cure. She has to prick her finger "at least" 4 times a day, usually more. And, she has at least 4 shots a day, sometimes more. Shortly after she was diagnosed, she asked "why do I have to have diabetes?", then a few minutes later, she looked at me and said, "I guess God gave me diabetes for a reason." I was in tears, but not so she could see me. As frustrating as this whole ordeal has been, learning how to control her sugars and what not, I know that God is in control - and take it step by step, day by day, one day at a time.
